James Solberg Band
James Solberg is well known to blues fans
for his association with Luther Allison, as well as for his tenure as a guitarist for Jimmy Reed, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters' Legendary Blues Band, the Nighthawks, Elvin Bishop and the Milwaukee-area favorites, Short Stuff. For the past couple years, the James Solberg Band has toured with Luther Allison in support of his albums Soul Fixin' Man, and Blue Streak,, both of which were co-written in large part by Solberg.
His new Album, One of These Days, reunites most of the cast and crew from Blue Streak and Soul Fixin' Man, including producer Jim Gaines, The Memphis Horns, and other Memphis luminaries.
One of These Days; 14 songs -- 55:03
Solberg's chief collaborator on this album is former Hoopsnakes and Lamont Cranston guitarist, Charlie Bingham. Kindred spirits in their love of guitars and vintage motorcycles, Solberg and Bingham wrote or co-wrote half of the 14 songs. Hear why these two blues guitar masters are in such high demand among fellow musician and blues fans alike.
