Party of One

Eric Johnson

Sometime you are so blown away by a demo tape that, well frankly you are a little scared... Like for example this tape, Party of One came on a tape of 18 songs, but the weird part was that they were all really good, really, really good. The main person behind Party of One is 21 year old EricJohnson D.J and Deli worker who spends every other waking moment writing and recording songs. So far he has over 3OO. Think about it, that's a lot of songs. All the stuff is heavily influenced by the early German Prog scene but really LO-Fi sorta like if Spare Snare produced a Can record.

This is a double A side, the song Alann Uabach is about the girl from the Beakman’s world and the Teen Lesbian smitten with Marsha in the Brady Bunch Movie. The AA side is called Wind up Machine, he wrote it when he was16, not your average song of teen angst and rebellion. This won't be the only release you'll see of this guy, in fact prepare to put this one in the collector's bin cause this may be the first, but it definitely won't be the last.
